I was born, grew up and went to school in Ruskington. If you are local to the village you may recognise me from my dad’s shop on the high street; SC Domestic Appliances where i have worked since i was 15.

I went to Lincoln college to complete A levels, and decided that Acupuncture was what I wanted to study. The catalyst for this decision was seeing my mum’s successful journey with Acupuncture; she struggled eight years for a baby and suffered two late miscarriages. Acupuncture was her last resort that helped her physically, mentally and emotionally- and I now have two younger sisters!

After my A levels I continued at Lincoln College to complete my BSc (Hons) in Traditional Acupuncture, I was lucky enough to have some amazing tutors whose passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine is unrivalled. I qualified with a first-class honours, and also completed an advanced facial-cosmetic Acupuncture course. During my time at university, I realised an area that I particularly fascinate with, is stress. Stress manifests in numerous ways and can result in a range of illnesses- there are few people who are lucky enough to say they do not get stressed. One of my aims was to ensure my treatment room is a relaxing, stress-free and tranquil experience.

I am now a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the UK’s largest regulatory body for Traditional Acupuncturists. I am based at Ruskington Therapy Clinic alongside a variety of other established health practitioners.
